The Graphic Business and Stanbic Bank held a Breakfast Meeting on Tuesday in Accra on AfCFTA.
The meeting was themed: “Leveraging AfCFTA. The critical success factors".
The Minister for Trade and Industry, Alan Kyerematen in keynote address for instance stated that the government has instituted several trade facilitation measures that will ensure that the Ghanaian private sector benefits from the numerous opportunities that the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreements present.
He said the measures including the reduction in the number of inspection bodies at the country's ports and border posts, as well as the simplification of customs procedures are all geared towards ensuring that Ghanaian businesses participate fully in the Single Continental Market.
The Graphic Business/Stanbic Bank Breakfast Meeting, is an initiative of the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) and Stanbic Bank.
