“Life is irregular and the tables can turn at any time so it is always important to be nice to people. Your support should not be limited to just your family members but those who deserve it.
“Let’s help the needy if we can in our little way because that is what the universe demands of us. There’s more blessing in giving than receiving,” AK Songstress advised.
Talking about the inspiration behind the song, AK Songstress said, “The fact that there are many well-to do people but have shunned the less privileged and left them to their fate when their help could make a lot of difference in their lives.
“Giving is an act of love so we must also give back to society without conditions and thoughts of benefits since service to man is service to God,” she said.
AK who was nominated in the VGMA Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year category is expecting massive airplay of Wunua.
“It’s a great master piece so I believe it will be a timeless song. I have good music so I expect more airplays especially from those preaching that artistes must do good music,” she told Graphic Showbiz.
Wunua was released on Friday, May 8 and commenting on how easy it was to get Efya on the song, AK Songstress said;
“After recording my part of Wunua and contemplating on who to feature, the only name that came in mind was Efya because she is family. She is a pro and talented artiste everyone would like to work with,” she said.
