While some music fanatics applauded her for the great tune, others also questioned why she wasn’t selling her talent but always talking about how great her body is.
But Ms Forson, in an exclusive interview with Graphic Showbiz, says talent and sexiness go together.
“I read the comments about how great I did on the guitar and I want to tell all of those who made the comments that I appreciate their compliments, the views and all but this is showbiz.
"Being sexy and having the talent go together. For me, there is nothing I can do about it.
“There are those who like the talent aspect, others also prefer me twerking on stage, posting videos etc but the good thing is that, now, people know I am not all about exposing my body but I am talented too. It is a full package,” she added.
According to her, this is not to say she will not consider some of the concerns people have raised.
“My management has also spoken about the video and we are looking at how to blend the two properly, turn things around positively to our advantage.
"But one thing I know for sure is that, I can’t do anything about my body and being sexy, it is my personality, I love to be creative”, she said.
She added, “I honestly did not know people will take the video on Mother’s Day like that because I can play the keyboard and guitar very well too and what I did was just for fun but I’m very impressed with the feedback.
“I have a lot of songs I am yet to release so maybe, we will see how to go about those ones when we settle on what to do with them. As human as we are, we grow every day, learn new things etc.”
As someone who has been praised for having a good voice and so should work on songs that showcase that gift, she said, “I heard that too and we will work on it. But I do those songs because of the kind of industry we find ourselves, I’m not able to bring that entire prowess out.
"However, I have a lot of songs, Highlife, Gospel, etc so let’s see what happens.”
